Merry Christmas and Happy New Year: A Poem Of Bliss © Roxanna Baltmorphy

A happy fat Santa busy one day, looks to his elves,
All busy with work and no play.

A little boy running through the snow, lays down to make angels,
All neat in a row.

A pine tree drug threw a living room and sat in place,
Awaits the smiling faces, to decorate it with beautiful lace.

A mistletoe hung above, Is just the place for a new, And kindering love.

A group of carolers out in the cold,
Sing beautiful songs for the young and thee old.

A delicious dinner made on Christmas, Is begun with prayer,
And is eaten with love and care.

Anxious children are told to sleep, Though they are to excited to try.
So they lie awake and watch for a sleigh in the sky.

On Christmas morning, Many will gather sharing gifts, and a story,
While adults smile at their children with pride and infinite glory!

Merry Christmas

Help Is Wanted For Josie Nordman at Nu: Please Give Your Best To Josie Mordman Today...

Humans are advanced animals, we differ from dogs, pigs or horses because we can speak, write, dream, and make technology and science our TOOLS in reaching a more comfortable level of living,
every child is born equal, and every boy and girl is supposed to be happy and fulfill one's dreams.

We all seek comfort and happiness from our parents, family or relatives, including friends or hometown...it is very sad that, at times, we are hit by sudden sadness which is unexpected, getting a serious disease is sad, this happens to a college student whose dreams are not much different from you and me...

I happen to know a glimpse of Josie Nordman (see her above on top) who is attending northwestern university...she has a surgery today at university of chicago medical center, and needs donations...

$2, $5, $7, or $10, any ammount will help the accumulation toward the total goal...please email or call The Daily Northwestern paper for further information on how you can help this good and promising girl for her recovery, strength, and hope for a brighter future...Thank YOU in advance.

Ps: Also see the below report from the university newspaper...cheers!

Updated: Josie Nordman to undergo lung transplant surgery
Patrick Svitek, Summer Editor
July 27, 2013

Rising Communication junior Josie Nordman is scheduled to undergo lung transplant surgery tonight, possibly capping months of fundraising by the Northwestern community for the life-saving operation.

"I cannot believe this day is finally here," Nordman said at about 8:30 p.m. in a Facebook post. "I will go into surgery in a few hours to have a lung transplant, and begin the next chapter of my life."

Nordman, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was 4 months old, was placed on the lung transplant list in December. Her lungs are only 16 percent functional due to the disease.
Since the beginning of the year, dozens of student organizations have raised thousands of dollars for Nordman's lung transplant fund. Her family has said they will have to pay up to $75,000 for the procedure.

Nordman's surgery is slated for about 11 p.m. at the University of Chicago Medical Center, according to her mom, Nicolle Nordman.
Ally Mutnick contributed reporting.

Your Mother Is Always With You... By Laura Armbruser Edington (May 1 -May 31, 2013, Asian Pacific American Tradition Months At Northwestern University, Evanston of IL)

Your Mother Is Always With You...

Your mother is always with you...
She's the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of bleach
in your freshly laundered socks.
She's the cool hand on your brow
when you're not well.
Your mother lives inside your laughter.
She's crystallized in every tear drop.
She's the place you came from,
your first home...
She's the map you follow
with every step that you take.
She's your first love
and your first heart break...
and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space...
Not even death...
will ever separate you
from your mother...
You carry her inside of you...

Apples and Oranges: Join Us 4 International Nutrition Month of the Year Writing, Research, Write, Post, Smile!

Google.com, simply write about your experience and feel good....

Apples and Oranges
I like apples
I like oranges

Apples are sweet with a crunch
Even when they are tart
The rewards are great
They are filled with nutrition
The skin is even good for the teeth
But every once in awhile
One is spoiled or rotten
Or worse, filled with creepy crawlers
Yet the refreshing burst
Of beneficial flavor is hard to refuse

I love oranges, the color alone
Sunshine in my hand
Puts a smile on my face
Before I even take a bite
When they are sweet
Nothing cold be better
They make my life healthy and happy
However, they, occasionally, can be bitter
Or spoiled or not glow so bright
Yet even at their most sour times
Or when they are not the freshest
I love them more than life itself

So it's obvious to me
Given the choice between the two
It is no contest
My love for oranges is rare

Yet I've been granted a special opportunity
I have been offered a bushel of apples
Though they are tasty
I don't want to only eat them

Apples or oranges?
I can eat the apples and still enjoy
The flavor burst of the oranges
The apples may even help me to
Enjoy the oranges even more
And cherish the time I have to
Nourish my bobby and mind
With their sweet nectar

I like apples
I love oranges
I can enjoy both
Without letting any spoil
With the right proportions

I just won't try to
Eat cake too!
