Agreement for Thursday Poets Rally 42 (April 21 - April 27, 2011)

Hello, This is Vinay (formerly Leo) from I Rhyme Without Reason, I welcome you to the 42nd week of Poets Rally.
Thursdays Poets’ Rally Week 42 ( April 21 - April 27, 2011)

Please read and answer the following questions before participating Poets Rally week 42:

#1: Is your poem for Poets Rally week 42 original? Please say YES or NO.
#2: By linking your poetry in, you are automatically a participant, which implies that you allow Poets Rally officials, Jingle, Vinay, the hosts, and other Poets Rally officials or participants unlimited access to your blog posts during the week, and you will NOT complain about how often people have visited or commented for your work. Do you agree? Please give a clear YES or NO.
#3: To be counted as active poet next time, you must meet the requirements:

1): Return favors to those who have commented for you,
2): visit and comment for 18 poets that are NEW to you either from participants list or from fresh poets to explore list. You have 7 days to make a minimum 18 comments, take your time! Are you going to fulfill requirements with your best knowledge? Please say YES or No.

#4: If you are nominated for The Perfect Poet Award, are you going to accept the award, following the rules to post a poem and nominate another previous participant? Please say YES or NO. To avoid frustration, Jingle awards those who said YES…

#5: As a participant, you are representing Thursday Poets Rally, no personal biases, no negative comment, or email gossips are encouraged or tolerated. You are expected to follow the rules, focus on public commenting and encouragement, you do your own contribution, and respect decisions made by fellow poets or Poets Rally officials…Are you willing to work on building a positive, encouraging, and respectful poetry community by being modest, cool, and professional? YES or No, Please respond.

*****

Please answer all 5 questions, First time participants can simply scroll down to visit participants from this list to meet requirement…you can visit the perfect poet award winners via Jingle’s blog if you wish…Let me or Jingle know after you are done… with this agreement, we are clear about our duty and complaints or potential issues are avoided…
Poets Rally Officials JingleVinayJamie DedesOliviaUmaRiikaAlezaKavita and Blaga welcome your active participation and contribution, the linkz will stay open for an entire week, take your time and enjoy!

*****
One quality entry per poet is accepted!

.Perfect Poet Award Winners and Fresh Poets To Explore IS HERE.

PSWe are making things easy for our officials, doing poetry collection is profound, but as the entries go beyond 150, it takes two full days of labor to make it happen and make it perfect…we will take a break from that starting week 42, hope that you read the entries via the llinkz, which is almost the same..sorry for the inconvenience..

(Done) Technically I'm done as I've fulfilled my requirement a few comments ago, but everytime I look up there is yet another wonderful poem to read! So I'll keep reading and commenting as the group shows up and of course I'll swing by if you leave a comment on my poem.

It is really going to be hard to pick just one nomination this week. Maybe I'll nominate everyone. ;)

Wow-- I didn't get the announcement for this one-- rats! I tried to find you last week online but couldn't. Thanks for alerting me, Jingle-- I haven't missed a Rally since I started! Maybe you could make it easier to find you-- I have no trouble finding the Potluck.

Paul said...

Yes, and thanks again.

Completed my commitments and visits!

Lu Ann said...

DONE :)

Henry Clemmons said...

I already answered yes to the questions, but I sure missed the boat this week with my poem. That is why these postings are so valuable. They help us know when something works and when it doesn't. I wrote a metaphorical piece on the loss of the father, but all the comments are on the metaphor. I did a good job with that part :) Going to have to put this piec back on the board and do some more work on it. I'm so glad I found, or was directed to this site. Thank you!
Henry C.

tallyt said...

Oops, I nearly forgot to say this. Yes to all the questions.

ManicDdaily said...

I think what you are doing is marvelous. I'm happy to post a poem, but my problem is that I just can't commit to commenting on 18 new poems, and some of the other requirements. They are very good requirements - don't get me wrong--and I think the idea of supportive commentary is terrific, but I know I don't just don't have the time or liberty at the moment to make the commitment. As a result, I feel reluctant to post a poem without "giving back" to your poetic community. I just know my limitations at the moment. Good luck with this. It's a great set-up.

Foxy said...
